I have edited these images to restore the former glory of the street, depicting the early 19th-century villas as they would have been upon their initial construction.
This section of Glossop Road from Upper Hanover Street to Brunswick Street still retains all of the original villas on the south side and townhouses on the north side and is arguably one of the most complete streets of its period still remaining in Sheffield.
